Established in 1901, Upper Montclair Country Club is a member-owned private golf and social club located only 12 miles from midtown Manhattan in Clifton, NJ.

For one hundred and twenty-five years, our Club has stood as a place of camaraderie, tradition, excellence, and stewardship of the game. It is more than a golf course or Clubhouse; it is a gathering place where friendships are formed, families grow, and memories are made across generations. Members, families, and staff have shaped the character of Upper Montclair, and we celebrate our rich history while honoring those who came before us whose vision and dedication built the foundation we enjoy today.

The 27 hole Championship courses, designed by two of golf’s most prominent architects, offer a truly challenging golf experience for those at all skill levels.  Members of the Club enjoy excellent service, pristine golfing conditions with the flexibility of no tee times, superior culinary experience, and true fellowship and camaraderie. Upper Montclair Country Club is one of only a few golf clubs world-wide to have hosted tournaments for all three Professional Golf Associations.
